Inbound Traffic Manager for Automotive Parts distribution company.

• Manage various transportation programs, such as Reverse Logistics, Hub & Spoke for transfers/referrals, Drop and Hook strategies, etc. This includes the management of any hazardous material issues for MPA receipt at the MPA PDCs, as well as transfer freight between PDCs, and vehicle VPCs (ports). Insure appropriate capacity is secured and provided timely. Resolve all issues that may arise, including carrier performance, excess accessorial fees, capacity, and any systems-related problems, as the business unit.
• Inbound Freight modes include FTL, LTL, Intermodal, Air and Ground Parcel.
• Utilize existing resources and develop new processes to control the inbound flow of domestic freight to the PDCs.  Work with the Supply Team and PDCs to secure appointment days/times to optimize inventory flow for maximum customer order fill rate.
• Relocation possible
